GBW (galvanized before welding) - Pregalvanized Welded Wire Mesh

GBW (Galvanized before welding) mesh is an electro welded wire mesh that is hot dip galvanized before the welding process. GBW mesh represents a more economical alternative to GAW (Galvanized after welding) when it comes to galvanized welded wire mesh. However, the weld points where the wires intersect on GBW materials are left unprotected by the hot dip zinc coating causing the weld points to rust over time, hence the price difference between the two. Our GBW products are available in a variety of roll/sheet sizes and gauges making them a versatile option that can fit many different applications. Like our PVC and GAW material, all of our GBW products listed above come from Italy and are designed to be a sustainable, eco-friendly option. Our GBW rolls use highly recyclable materials that come wrapped in a fully recyclable polyethylene film.

It is worth noting that not all of our GBW products come in the form of rolls. Our 4” x 4” patterns are available in 5’ x 9’ sheets (with 4 gauge wire) as well as 6’ x 10’ sheets (with 9 gauge wire) which have applications in construction and can be used to reinforce concrete. Spec sheets and CAD drawings are available for both of these products for more information.
