Customer Profile: Iron Master Décor

July 18, 2019

We’re happy to show case the work of Iron Master Décor – an Aurora based business specializing in traditional wrought iron and modern contemporary metal work.

They recently finished a project using our Sachetto pattern. The perforated metal was used as a design feature on the sides and underneath custom residential railings. The final product was hot-dip galvanized and painted white for maximum durability and protection from the elements. The duration of the project took roughly 6 months, and included the structural work of the metal flooring and railings.

Iron Masters: Timeless Metal Work

Iron Master Decor was established over thirty years ago, but their expertise in working with wrought iron goes back to Austria during the early 20th century. In 1906, master craftsman Joe Schneeberger apprenticed with Austria’s leading wrought iron maker for seventeen years before setting down roots in Canada.

Since 1988, Iron Master Décor has built a reputation for consistency in producing high-quality custom work. Their reputation for quality comes from being one of the only businesses left in North America that still employs highly experienced, professional blacksmiths. To that end, every design produced by Iron Master Decor is a handmade original that boasts the craftsmanship and quality that factory assembled pieces simply do not offer.

Iron Master Décor’s blacksmiths work with real wrought iron – a more durable and versatile material in comparison to other common alternatives.

They go the extra mile by hot-dip galvanizing all of their exterior designs for complete rust protection. The same goes for their interior designs, where they use a clear lacquer for a clean, bright finish.

Most of their projects consist of custom residential work, with a primary focus on fabricating interior and exterior railings. Iron Master Décor also offers custom service for front doors, fences, gates, fireplaces, lamp posts, wine cellars and other miscellaneous work.
